  • Biography


Mr. Xiong was raised in Wuhan, China. He received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering and automation from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an, China, in 2017, and the M.Sc. degree in electronic information engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, HKSAR, China, in 2018. He is currently pursuing the Dr. rer. nat. degree with the University of Freiburg, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. C. Schindelhauer, Chair of Computer Networks and Telematics (CoNe). His research interests lie broadly in the fields of localization, robust estimation, optimization, and deep learning.

From October 2018 to June 2019, he was a Research Assistant with the Department of Electrical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong. From July 2019 to September 2020, He worked as a Scientific Staff at CoNe.

Mr. Xiong serves as a Reviewer for various international journals, including but not limited to IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, Signal Processing, and IEEE Signal Processing Letters.
