Access to the website:

Our information pages are provided exclusively on the central web servers of the computer center and the web servers of the Institute of Computer Science.
Each of your accesses to the University of Freiburg's website is stored in a log file. The data in the log file is not personally identifiable. This means that we cannot track which pages you have accessed or which files you have accessed.
The following data is stored in the log file:
- Name of the retrieved file
- Date
and time of retrieval - Message as to whether the retrieval was
successful - IP address
The stored data is only evaluated for the purpose of optimising the Internet offer. It will not be passed on to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

Google Calendar

On the home page, we link to a Google calendar. The site is operated by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter referred to as "Google"). When you visit this page, a connection to Google's servers is established. In doing so, Google is informed which pages you visit.

The privacy policy of the calendar operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. Google processes your data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework

The legal basis for the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) by clicking on the link. Calling Google Calendar automatically triggers a connection to Google. Safety:

Unless explicitly indicated, we do not use cookies, Java applets, or Active-X controls. Only a few Javascript functions are used for an appealing presentation of our information pages and various navigation aids. However, all relevant information can also be accessed without Javascript!
