Wireless Sensor Networks (Sommer 2018)

In this lecture we present the networking aspect of sensor and actuator networks. Starting from existing systems we present algorithms and protocols for all networking layers. We discuss the lifetime of a sensor network and energy consumption. Also, the coverage, localization and data aggregation will be covered.

In 2019 we will have oral exams of 30 minutes for the remaining students. You can choose as dates 26.02.2019, 27.02.2019, 20.03.2019, 21.03.2019, or suggest another date in the examination period. Please contact Christian Schindelhauer via e-mail, who will acknowledge your choice.

There will be a written exam of 90 minutes on 25.09.2018 at 10am for the master students in a room to be announced. For the bachelor students an oral exam will take place on 31.08.2018. Please register on-line using the campus management system. There are no requirements for the registration and please observe the registration deadline.

In the last lecture week there will be a mock exam on 16.07.2018 at 10am replacing the lecture. The solutions will be discussed on 18.07.2018, which concludes the lecture. This mock exam has no influence on the grade of this lecture.
